Lit by Leslie Sannasi on behalf of Barbara's siblings and spouses and their families. 4th December 2022
It is with a very heavy heart that we bid farewell to a gentleman, our brother-in-law and a dear brother, Kay. At the outset we would like to express our heartfelt and deepest sympathies to my dearest sister Barbara, Kevin, Shalene, grandchildren and the rest of our beloved family. The news of Kay's demise, really came so unexpectedly and affected us all. We were so excited and looking forward to reuniting with Kevin after so long. But Gods ways are not our ways. We will not be able to fully comprehend what you are all going through right now. Even sadder is the fact that we cannot be with you physically, during this time of your bereavement. However, we appreciate the avenue of live streaming as we can somehow be witness to this funeral service. Kay, as we all knew him was a quiet, soft spoken, hardworking person. One who had a good relationship with all his family and friends. I cannot remember a time or occasion where there was any conflict or an argument amongst us. Kay was Barbara's right hand. Always lending a helping hand. He loved his sport, watching news and was a great thunee player. He was meticulous in his dress and always carried himself well. He had that smile that would warm any heart. When both Kay and Barbara decided to move to New Zealand to be with Kevin and his family, we were happy and sad. In 2018 we had a Sannasi siblings’ reunion, we were pleasantly surprised when we saw that Barbara and Kay arrived. We all had such a beautiful reunion. KAY WILL BE SORELY MISSED. MAY GOD BRING YOU COMFORT. LOVE YOU ALL.
This candle was first lit on the 4th of December 2022 and will burn for 98 years 6 months and 15 days.
